Congratulations Caoimhe, you are Student of the Month for February!
Caoimhe, who suffered a wrist injury last year has bounced back brilliantly this term to make great progress in all areas of her Violin playing! All the extra effort is really paying off!

PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS
Performance workshops are designed to not only give students a platform to perform, but also the oppurtunity to contribute to discussions on performances by their peers. After each performance, students will be encouraged to provide positive comment and feedback, with group interaction and discussion an important focal point.
In addition to this, I will guide the workshop in further areas of relevance such as those listed below:
ESSENTIAL BASICS to include:
- Rhythm
- Notes/Pitching/Fingering
- Articulation
- Phrasing
PERFORMANCE AREAS to include:
- Dynamics
- Musicality
- Memory work
- Communication
- Style and Interpretation
- Presentation
- Confidence
OTHER AREAS to include:
- Dealing with nerves and stress
- Performance practice and preparation
- Dealing with mid-performance anxiety/panic
